13:04 30/09/2011

MOSCOW, September 30 - RAPSI, Anna Demidova, Natalia Belova. A commercial court satisfied on Friday the coal producer's appeal for an in camera hearing of its lawsuit against an antimonopoly authority which declared the company guilty of abusing its dominant position on the coking coal market, the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI) reported from the courtroom.

Raspadsky Ugol, subsidiary of Russia's leading coking coal producer Raspadskaya, motivated its appeal by the existence of commercial secrets in the case materials, specifically in its correspondence with partners and information on coal prices and supplies.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service reported that Raspadsky Ugol, EvrazHolding, Yuzhkuzbassugol and Evrazresurs abused their dominant position on the coking coal market in March.

The service initiated a case against a group of persons in EvrazHolding, Severstal and Raspadskaya based on the differences in the domestic and export coal prices exposed by the market analysis for the period between January 2009 and June 2010.
