MOSCOW, September 30 - RAPSI, Dmitry Shchitov. The court has decided not to proceed until October 20 with a energy grid's appeal against a court order to pay $25 million to Rusal, a court official told the Russian Legal Information Agency (RAPSI).

According to the court ruling, the parties have not submitted the requisite documents.

The Siberian Interregional Distribution Network Company appealed the April 11 commercial court's award, as well as the appeals court's judgment to satisfy Rusal's claim. The appeal's hearing date has yet to be scheduled.

According to Rusal, it demanded a 796.9 million ruble payment from the energy grid on December 31, to be paid by February 10. It claimed the utility owed it the amount for electricity used from January to April. However, the utility failed to make the payment.

Rusal is one of the worlds top aluminum companies, with a 10-percent share of both the world's aluminum and alumina output.

The Siberian Interregional Distribution Network Company is engaged in network power transmission across Russia and services an area of 2.2 million square kilometers.
